We have recently discovered that there is a setting in various ad-blocking software programs that automatically blocks Google Tag Manager. If you are using Google Tag Manager to load your Qualaroo JavaScript onto your website, it may be being blocked by this setting, and some of your visitors may not see your surveys. If you are using Google Tag Manager for other JavaScript code, such as Google Analytics, this is also being blocked.
This setting that blocks Google Tag Manager is a list of URLs called EasyPrivacy. It blocks all analytics, customer tracking, surveying, and affiliate websites and javascript. EasyPrivacy is generally a list that users opt-in to use, but may be added by default depending on the adblocking program that is being used. More information can be found at the EasyList website (opens in new window).
