Regardless of what your site is for, it's important that visitors can navigate your site to find what they're looking for easily. Understanding if people are able to find what they need will greatly help with determining if your site's design meets visitors needs.
Survey Content
Recommended question: "Were you able to find the information you were looking for?"
Recommended answer type: Single answer selection (radio button)
Answer options:
- "Yes, easily"
- "Yes, eventually"
- "No"
Both "Yes, eventually" and "No" should branch to the open-ended question "What were you looking for?".

Recommended targeting options
- Where should this survey appear?: The entire site
- Who should be prompted to take this survey?: A percentage of traffic, delayed by at least 3 pages
- When should this survey be displayed?: Generally a 3-5 second page level delay works well, but use Google Analytics as your guide to see what the average length of time people spend on a page.
- How often should this survey be displayed?: Continue showing until the visitor provides a response.
