Log in to your ProProfs Qualaroo account. From the dashboard, switch to Behaviour Tracking (Heatmap & Session Recording) and then click on Heatmaps.
Click Create New Heatmap. Enter the required details, such as:
Website URL or URL pattern you want to track
Site selection (if multiple sites are added)
Click Start Tracking to create the heatmap.
To start collecting heatmap data, you need to install the tracking script on your website.
Switch to the Sites tab and go to Site Settings for the site.
Navigate to the Installation Guide section and copy the tracking code.
Paste the code within the <head> section of your website pages.
Important Notes:
Data collection begins only after the code is installed.
Ensure the code is added to all pages you want to track.
The script is lightweight and does not impact page performance.
You can disable tracking at any time if needed.
It is recommended to update your website’s privacy policy accordingly.
Once your heatmap starts collecting data, you can view user interaction patterns directly from the Heatmaps dashboard.
If no data appears:
Verify that the tracking code is correctly installed.
Ensure your page is receiving traffic.
From the Heatmaps dashboard, you can:
Search heatmaps by URL or site name
Apply filters to find specific heatmaps
Monitor status (Active/Inactive)
Enable or disable tracking as needed
