Once you've selected the areas of your site that the survey could fire on, you'll want to move to the situation where someone could see the survey. We have some very powerful advanced targeting options that give you greater flexibility.
Target by Identity: If you have a portion of your website that requires a login, we give you the ability to push your logged in visitor information into Qualaroo then target them based on whether or not they're logged in. This option is available on our Essentials and Premium plans.
Target Optimizely experiments: If you use Optimizely to run A/B tests on your site, gain further insights by surveying the visitors who see those experiments. This option is available on our Essentials and Premium plans.
Target by geographic location: This option allows you to target by or exclude countries and regions. It's especially useful for surveys in different languages. This option is available on our Essentials and Premium plans.
Target via the API with Custom Targeting Attributes: Perhaps the most powerful targeting option uses our JavaScript API to push data about visitors and their behavior into Qualaroo so you can target your survey based on that information. Have a flash site where the URL doesn't change? Only want to target members based on their subscription type? Want to only fire a survey when a visitor clicks on a specific link? Custom Targeting Attributes are your answer! This option is available on our Essentials and Premium plans.
Target by cookie value: This allows you to target any or all cookies that are present within thevisitors's browser. This option is available on our Essentials and Premium plans.
Target via a whitelist or blacklist: If you're using our Identity API call to push information about logged in visitors to Qualaroo, you can whitelist or blacklist those visitors from seeing the survey Essentials and Premium plans.
