How to Initiate a Live Chat Using Qualaroo Surveys

Start an Olark, ZopIM, SnapEngage, or LiveChat chat window easily using Qualaroo based on the visitor’s response to a question. Since live chat requires a lot of staffing, Qualaroo is a great way to qualify a visitor's needs or value before sending them into a live chat with a person.

Benefits of starting a chat window using Qualaroo:

  • Get a better understanding of the visitor requirements

  • Qualify the visitors before starting the live chat with them.

A better way to understand is to suppose a visitor is delaying a decision to purchase a product on your website. You may want to know why. If they indicate they still have a few more questions, you can ask them whether they would like to chat with someone.

Step 4: Choose which of your answers should result in starting a chat and add the live chat screen using branching logic. Here, when the visitor chooses “Yes,” it will initiate a conversation.

Step 5: Configure and save your survey.

NOTE: As long as the page on which you are running your survey also contains the appropriate code snippet, your chat program will automatically start if the user chooses the designated answer.

NOTE: Be sure to have your chat window hidden from view on the page running your survey to avoid overlapping the two products.
