 Multiple Answer Selection

  • This option allows visitors to select multiple answers among the answer options in a survey question.
  • You can even randomize their order and prompt visitors to add additional comments if specific answers are chosen.

An example would be adding an ‘Other’ answer option, allowing visitors to add context around that selection. Selecting this option will prompt visitors to choose ‘Send,’ as you can see from the screenshot below:

This option allows visitors to select only one response from the available options before proceeding to the next step in the survey. Similar to the Multiple Answer Selection feature, it supports the following functionalities:

  • Randomized Order: It enables to randomize their order of the options displayed to avoid bias.
  • Conditional Prompts for Comments: Prompts visitors to provide additional comments if specific options are selected.
  • Last Selected Option Feature in Link Surveys: This feature in the link survey helps make surveys more personalized by dynamically displaying the user’s previous selection in the next question using the [PreviousAnswer] tag.

Single Answer Selection (Radio Button) Answer Type

How the Last Selected Option Feature Works:

  1. User Selection: The user answers a radio button question (e.g., rates product quality as "4 - Good").
  2. Dynamic Display: The [PreviousAnswer] tag automatically incorporates the user’s previous selection into the next question.
  3. Example: If a user rates product quality as "4 - Good," the next question might say: "You selected 4 - Good. What did you like most about the product?"

 Single Answer Selection (Dropdown)

  • This option allows visitors to select only one answer option from a dropdown menu.
