In this help article, we will begin by covering how to use emojis in Qualaroo on Mac, Windows 8.1, 10, and 7. For each operating system, please note that emojis can be included within any text field, including Question, Description, Message, and Answer fields. Once each method is detailed, we will provide a few use cases designed to help get your creativity flowing.
Using Emojis on Mac
1. Position the cursor in the text field of your choosing
2. Use the keyboard shortcut: Command - Control - Spacebar to pull up your Character Viewer
3. Select the desired emoji by double clicking
Using Emojis on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
You will need to access the on-screen touch keyboard, which can be accessed by selecting the keyboard icon in the system tray.
If you do not see the keyboard icon in the system tray, right-click the taskbar and check Show touch keyboard button.
Windows 8.1 users can find this option by right-clicking the taskbar and going to Toolbars > Touch keyboard.
To select emojis, tap the emoji button to the left of the spacebar.
Using Emojis on Windows 7
In order to use emojis on a Windows 7 PC, you will need to copy and paste them from an emoji database. Simply highlight an emoji with your cursor, press Ctrl + C and then navigate to the place you want to use the emoji and press Ctrl + V.
