2. Does Qualaroo JavaScript work on Https sites?

 

Yes - Qualaroo JavaScript runs on both HTTP and HTTPS sites.

 

3. Do I Need to Add the Main JavaScript to Every Page of My Website?

 

We recommend adding our JavaScript to every page since once you do that, all further survey administration is done through your Qualaroo account. It is also essential for targeting purposes, as specific targeting options rely on the visitor's navigation through your site to know when to fire the survey.

 

We have had customers ask if you can only place the JavaScript on the pages you plan to have surveys on - you absolutely can. Still, it may have unintended consequences when you consider specific targeting criteria.

 

4. What's the Best code placement for JavaScript?

 

We recommend adding the Qualaroo JavaScript just after the <body> tag in the source of each page on your website. It lets the Qualaroo JavaScript load simultaneously with the rest of your page content, and your surveys will show up correctly based on the targeting options you've selected.

 

Qualaroo JavaScript

 

Placing the Qualaroo JavaScript in the <head>, <footer> or at the end of the <body> tag can result in slow survey loading times or the surveys not showing up in some browsers. We use asynchronous JavaScript, so adding Qualaroo to your site will not impact your page load time.
