How to Enable Screenshot Capture for Feedback

Text feedback is useful—but not always enough. When users face visual bugs or UI glitches, words can fall short. That’s where the Capture Screenshot feature helps.

With this feature, users can attach screenshots while submitting feedback. It gives your support team the visual context they need to understand and resolve problems quickly.

How to Enable Screenshot Capture in Your Survey

Step 1: Navigate to Feedback Settings

From your dashboard, either create a new survey or edit an existing one.

If the answer type is set to a Text-based answer, the Screen Capture toggle will appear and can be enabled.

Step 2: Enable Screen Capture

Scroll to the Screen Capture option. Check the box labeled "Allow users to add a screenshot when they give feedback."

Once enabled, a "Capture Screenshot" button will appear in the feedback form, allowing users to take and attach screenshots before submitting their responses.

Clicking the “Capture Screenshot” button allows users to drag and select the area they want to screenshot.

Once captured, users can type their message before sending it.

The interface shows a confirmation once the screenshot is attached. Users can remove or send it.
