How to Manage Surveys Using the Options Button

The Options Button lets you easily enable or pause surveys with a click. This help article will guide you through the process of activating or pausing your surveys as per your requirement.

How to Activate/Pause a Qualaroo Survey Using the Options Button

Step 1: The options button is located to the left of the survey name. It appears as a toggle button. Click the button to enable the survey on your website and confirm the survey activation.

Step 2: If you want to pause a live survey, click the toggle button and confirm to make it inactive.

How to Activate Your Survey

In Qualaroo, you can activate your survey in various ways and at different stages of your survey creation and deployment. It gives you easy control to activate/deactivate your surveys.

• Quickly check how the survey appears on your website.

• Customize your saved and existing survey before activating it on the website.

To activate your survey:

1. From within the survey builder while creating a new survey

Click on ‘SAVE AND ACTIVATE’ in the bottom navigation menu on the design window.

You will get a message upon successful activation of your survey.

2. From the survey dashboard

You can directly activate your survey from the dashboard itself. Just click on the toggle button to activate it.

3. Activating an existing survey

In the survey editor,

• Click the toggle button in the navigation menu at the bottom.

• Click on ‘Save.’ You will be able to see that your survey is active.

How to Pause or Remove a Survey From Your Website

In Qualaroo, you can pause or remove a survey to make it inactive on the target URL. As a result, the visitors/users will no longer see the survey on your website.

By utilizing the pause and remove options, you can quickly make a survey inactive, ensuring that visitors and users will no longer encounter it on your website. This functionality provides you with complete control over the survey's presence, allowing you to tailor the survey experience as needed.

Benefits of pausing or removing a survey:

• Take the survey off the website when you have reached the required responses.
• Remove the current survey to add a new one.

To pause or remove a survey in Qualaroo

Step 1: On the Qualaroo dashboard, locate an active survey and click the toggle button, as shown in the screenshot, to pause it. We call it the Options button.

Step 2: Click the 'OK' button on the pop-up message that appears on the screen for confirmation.

Your survey(nudge) will get paused.

Note: If you wish to activate the survey, simply click the Options button, and your survey will be live on your website.
